Probably the most classic shot I took so far of the Scheveningen surf scene.

A grey weekend with rain, hail and even some snow. With waves coming in all the way from Norway and a gentle offshore breeze. After this day I was convinced about one thing...I need a proper rain jacket.

Beautiful capture

I was given this as present for my birthday. I love this photo so much. It shows just a perfect composite of a Scheveningen surf day! This shall definitely be the photo that I’ll bring wherever I move to.

Echt Scheveningen

Prachtige foto van Scheveningen zoals het zo vaak is, donkere wolken, kou, hard wind en toch vol met surfers. Erg blij met deze foto, hij krijgt een mooi plekje in ons huis.

Great photography

I absolutely love this image -capturing the 'Scheveningse skyline' with almost artistically-painted-looking clouds and the line up of silhouetted surfers.
Aside from it being an eye-catcher my own home, I've gifted this image on various occasions: as a forget-me-not from Scheveningen/The Hague and to (surfing) friends who appreciate this moody line up.

Materials

  • Photo Print

    I choose to work with ILFORD photo paper which has a Satin finish. It's sturdier than standard photo paper and looks great in color and black and white. ILFORD Gallery Smooth Pearl · 290 gr/m. A gallery quality photo print. 

  • Photo in Wooden Frame

    A framed photo print! You can choose between natural, white and black wooden frame, including off-white passe-partout. Frames are 2cm wide and come with a hanging system and floatglass.

  • Photo on Dibond

    Your photo printed on a 3mm thick Dibond plate. The 'direct print' technique gives a light matte effect and a non-reflective surface. Prints on Dibond always come with a hanging system.

  • Cards

    Cards are of the same material and quality as the postcards that I sell. The quality is great, otherwise I wouldn't sell it :) The paper used is a robust 300grms Heaven 42 paper, for a beautiful and lasting piece of art.
